Mathematics knows no races or geographic boundaries; for mathematics, the cultural world is one country. Without mathematics, there is nothing you can do. Everything around you is mathematics. Everything around you is number. Mathematical knowledge plays a crucial role in the progress of society and it is continued growth.

 Department of Mathematics in Chinmaya Degree College was established in 1989 with the aim of developing more corollary, expanding human knowledge, being beneficial for society and giving purpose to students as mathematics. In the coming years, the Department will expand both in size and variety of expertise. The object of the department is to raise mathematics among institutions and industry. Department wishes to focus on providing a comprehensive curriculum undergraduate level and relevant career opportunities.
